Drag Chain Expertise
Drag chains, also known as energy chains or cable chains, are flexible guidance systems found in many different applications and are utilized in the transmission of power and data signals from a fixed source to a moving destination.
They protect cables and wires from abrasion, wear, and other damages caused by movement, vibrations, or environmental factors. They allow cables and wires to be specifically organized to improve the operation of machines and plants. Drag chains are often found in industrial applications such as in mechanical engineering, automation technology, robotics, and material handling technology.
In our product overview, you can find a large selection of drag chains in different sizes, materials, and designs to meet the requirements of your application.

Polymer Drag Chains
Our polymer drag chains are optimal for light and mid-weight loads and are often utilized in automation technology, robotics, and mechanical engineering. Their most prominent features are their light weight, durability, resistance to corrosion, and high flexibility, which make them ideal for applications with dynamic movements. In comparison to their steel counterparts, polymer drag chains are quieter, more affordable, and are easier to install.

Kolibri Polymer Drag Chain
Kolibri Polymer Drag Chain
The Kolibri polymer drag chain is a very affordable cable chain for light industries. The integrated mounting system replaces the need for specialized brackets to install the chain.
This drag chain is used in robotics, handling technology, conveyor technology, paper, and textile machines, and many more.

PKK Polymer Combo Chain
PKK Polymer Combo Chain
The PKK combines all of the advantages of polymer cable chains in a singular system. The PKK combo chain can be opened and closed, as well as have its length, width, and height adjusted, without the need for specialized tooling. Additonally, the integrated mounting system replaces the need for separate installation brackets.
These chains are utilized in a variety of applications including robotics, handling technology, intralogistics, tooling and textile machines, and many more.

PFR Polymer Tube
PFR Polymer Tube
The PFR polymer tube is suited for short travel distances. Its sleek, closed design fulfills both form and function, while still being easy to adjust lengthwise.
Applications: Tooling and welding machines, sheet metal processing, and many more.
Steel Drag Chains
We also manufacture high-quality cable drag chains made of steel and stainless steel designed for the most extreme conditions, offering uncompromising reliability where it matters. Our steel drag chains can be found performing to the highest degree in the tunneling and mining industries, as our drag chains are the clear choice when it comes to tackling such extreme challenges.

SLE Steel Link Chain
SLE Steel Link Drag Chain
The SLE steel link drag chain is available in steel, stainless steel, and hardened steel designs, and it can be delivered assembled with hole crossbars (SLE and SLA), foam crossbars (SLS), plastic intermediate crossbars (SLP), and tube crossbars (SLR).
Industrial applications include tooling machines, the food and beverage industry (stainless steel), mills, specialized machines, mining, offshore industries, and many more. Our experts look forward to advising you on pre-assembled, complete drag chains.

GKA Large Steel Chain
GKA Large Steel Chain
The GKA large steel chain is used in applications calling for a large number of cables and hoses with large outer diameters, as well as in in applications with self-supported travel distances up to 60 ft (18 m). This drag chain is also available in V4A stainless steel and in customized designs.
This chain is used in heavy machinery, steel production, mills, in large-scale offshore plants, and many more.

SFK Steel Tube
SFK Steel Tube
The closed steel SFK tube chain provides cables and hoses with good protection against hot shavings, welding slag, and sparks. The SFK steel tube is a proven solution for many specialty tooling machine applications with short travel distances and limited movement cycles.
Hybrid Drag Chains
Hybrid drag chains combine the benefits of polymer and metal drag chains and are an ideal solution for applications that require both flexibility and high stability. They are characterized by their low weight, high abrasion and corrosion resistances, and their superior chemical resistance. These characteristics make hybrid drag chains suited for use in demanding environments such as in automation technology, mechanical engineering, and in robotics applications.

PLE Hybrid Chain
PLE Hybrid Drag Chain (Polymer Chain with Aluminum Crossbars)
The PLE polymer drag chain with aluminum crossbars is a more cost-effective and lighter solution than steel drag chains. When installed in a trough, this chain slides over itself in applications with travel distances up to 328 ft (100 m). Additonally, the integrated mounting system replaces the need for separate installation brackets.
The PLE hybrid drag chain can be found in tooling machines, handling technology, conveyors, hoists, and many more.
